Customer Critiques

This speedy connector is an good item and is nearly identical to the name brand versions, such as Warn. The difference is that this item comes with two connectors and the covers. The Warn version generally does not contain covers and is a lot more highly-priced for a single connector.
A few items not mentioned in the description follows:
- The item is made for or 2 Gauge wire. 4 gauge wire is a little bit loose and needs extra work, but is pretty usable. This is not meant to be a low amp installation. It is meant for significant gauge wires capable of handling greater amps more than lengthy distances, such as those needed to run from the battery at the front of a car to the hitch receiver at the rear of the vehicle.
- The dimension of each connector 3"w x two"h x 1"d. The total width of both connectors with each other is five".
- The boot caps are installed on the incorrect finish when you receive them, so they stretch a tiny with the put on. If you heat them in actually warm (not boiling) water and then install them more than the proper finish (with the power disconnected of course), they will fundamentally remold to the correct side and match fantastic.
Appropriately installed, the accessories for this item are endless. You can set it up as a rear jumper-cable connection, for 12v power to a trailer to charge batteries, a rear connector for removable or trailered winches... The list goes on. Outstanding product and well worth the price tag. The shipping speed was phenominal, also.

I have the Warn Quick Connectors and these. Both are the very same except Warn has a tiny plastic tip in middle that prevents these from sliding on. I employed a Dremel tool to grind off plastic tip from Warn Connectors on winch and they now perform completely together. I bought two pairs (four) of these with covers for the cost of 1 not a pair but one particular connector with no cover from Warn. Which would you order ? I have tested them on Warn 9000i winch pulling out a stuck 7000 lb. car with the rear wheels locked in sugar sand. Guess they worked fine...
PS: Name brand businesses who inflate value beyond cause are greedy and unacceptable to do buss. with. I consider Warn Winches are inflated as effectively but that is a diff. assessment.
