This is the Maasdam pow'r pull 4-Ton e-z winch series cable puller. It utilizes galvanized, aircraft high-quality cable with double locking drive pawls. The drop forged steel frame is galvanized to prevent rust an has an oversized steel safety guard. It has forged steel hooks with osha advised safety latches. It has an automatic tie-down with a safety catch. The cable guide guards against excessive put on. It performs outstanding for lifting components and fixtures, squaring wood/metal framing and stretching fence and wire. It can also be used for straightening collision harm and securing tent structures.

Unquestionably works OK. I was in a position to rig this up to pull many bushes from my front yard. Depending on what you are pulling the 5ft cable length is a little restrictive. The release mechanism for pulling out the cable is poor, and there is no guide that prevents the cable from finding chewed up by the gears. All in all, it did the job I required, but if I was planning to use a come-along on a regular basis I would have purchased a improved 1.
