The Rugged Ridge Winch Line Stopper is constructed of heavy duty rubber that will compress below load and keeps the winch line and hook tight without damaging the hawse or roller fairlead. The line stopper also cushions the hook and prevents it from rattling though driving. Measures three.25" x 1.75"

I got this cable stopper so I wouldnt have to snug up the cable against the pull hook, It holds pretty fantastic depending on the cable size of course. Doesnt seem to get in the way like I believed it would originally either.
Listed as universal and is of excellent good quality, but is way too small for a synthetic line (mine is 3/8). You could drill out the center a tiny extra (which i did) to get it to match better but if I was asked to do it again I almost certainly wouldn't. I've taken it off and its sitting on my desk now. Not really mainly because its negative, but I just do not honestly see the need to have for it.
